Surprisingly good - some hit and miss. I came with the expectation of all mediocre, plain food but was pleasantly surprised that a lot of the menu items were actually quite good. I came with family, so I got to sample a lot of dishes in addition to my own, here are some mini-reviews:
Balsamic Chicken ~ very good! Chicken was tender, sauce was delicious and mashed potatoes soft. Loved it.
Four Cheese Spinach Dip ~ Love the crispy pita it came with. The dip was a bit harder in texture than I'm used to though. Milestone's or Olive Garden(in the states) do a much better spinach dip.
Steak ~ Dry. Dislike.
Wings & Popcorn Shrimp ~ Good, but not above garden variety PC wings/pre cooked food you get at the grocery store.
Seafood Pasta ~ Dislike. No flavour. Sauce tasted like water.
Brownie Pops ~ DELICIOUS. Deep fried brownies with a caramel dipping sauce. Soo good.
Thursday half-price wing nights are great. Service is so-so, they get the wings out to you in a reasonable amount of time. Their wings are fantastic, and I have gone here many times for it. Their wraps are pretty good as well. Their waitresses are somewhat rude, but it's fine because their delicious wings make up for it.
Should go more often. Friends of ours brought us to Kelsey's for the first time a few years ago, and while I don't go often I usually enjoy my meal. Most recently, we went after a baseball tournament and the staff were great. They have a few new menu items so I decided to try the Thai soup as a starter, and I was very impressed. It had just the right amount of bite for my taste and plenty of chicken and rice in a coconut Thai broth, very tasty! I had a burger for my main, and it was quite good too, not overcooked which I find is far to common these days. The kids were served promptly and seemed to enjoy their meals, which they were allowed to 'design' themselves, choosing from 4 categories. Overall fun experience.
